My mama taught me to treat everybody with respect. She taught me to be nice. She told me the Lord is always looking out for me and wants me to do good deeds, something he can brag about, like when grandpa come home from fishing. She told me that we all the same. No matter if we rich folks or poor folks, white folks or black. We are all the same. She tell me don’t hurt anybody and don’t let anybody hurt me. She likes to hold my hand and squeeze it tight every time she says, “Gods got a plan for us all.”
